Mercury Retrograde in Taurus 2023

Whenever Mercury goes retrograde, everything associated with Mercury energy tends to play by different-than-usual rules. Communication can get messy and unclear. The way we learn and process information may feel sluggish or strange. Technology can go awry. 

When Mercury goes retrograde in Taurus, as it will on April 22, 2023 until May 14, 2023, our sense of self-esteem, stability, pleasure, and our personal resources (like finances) tend to bear the brunt of any distorted communication. About 2 weeks before a retrograde starts, we enter what's called the shadow period of this Mercury Retrograde, which means we begin to see what themes and triggers will be coming up for us personally during the actual Mercury Retrograde period. Mercury Retrograde is intended as a gift. An opportunity to slow down and really examine how we think and communicate. Time to review and revise our communication style and thought patterns so that, when Mercury goes direct (aka is no longer retrograde) again, you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
